Joselin Linder, a writer and filmmaker, has lived in 6 cities over 15 years: Columbus, OH, Boston, MA, Seattle, WA, Prague, CZ, San Francisco, CA and New York City. This is, in part the reason she agreed she might be qualified to write The Purity Test for St. Martin’s Press, an entertainment book of more than 2000 questions inspired by the online phenomenon. She also has a curiosity that borders on dangerous and a fearlessness that borders on stupidity which helped.
She is the associate producer of Tie A Yellow Ribbon, the award winning film by Joy Dietrich. She worked with Gigantic Pictures for two years, an independent film studio in New York City that continues to produce, support and create remarkable independent pictures. She co-authored The Good Girl’s Guide to Living in Sin, a book of advice on how to maintain a successful cohabitation with Elena Donovan Mauer, published by Adams Media. Her book The Good Girl’s Guide to Getting It On, also with Donovan Mauer is slated for release in the winter of 2010. Linder is a founding member of the Stoned Crow Writers Workshop, a fiction group that has carried on a weekly meeting since 2005. Her popular blog on cohabitation can be found at: www.thegoodgirlsguidetolivinginsin.com.
Linder currently lives and writes and Brooklyn. She and her boyfriend Aaron share a great apartment and their fantastic dog, Dee Dee Ramone. She learned while writing this book that Aaron's is a past rife with eggings.
